After purchase I will contact you about the reference photo. I prefer to receive a top 3 of your favorite photos to get a good idea of the person and to make sure I catch their personality in the painting. On average a portrait can take 6 to 8 weeks, including drying and shipping time. You will receive a photo of the finished painting before I ship it ensuring you are fully satisfied with the final outcome.
